Visit statistics
Controller: Olivier (F4IOZ), who publishes this site as a private person. Contact: QRZ.
The site counts its visits itself, with no tracking cookie and no outside audience-measurement tool or service.
- For each visit the site records: the IP address, the country worked out from it, the browser and kind of device (from the User-Agent header), the browser's language, the site one came from (its name only), the pages seen and when, the time spent on the « Live » page.
- Purpose: knowing how the site and its live page are visited (unique visitors, countries, pages read), and its security. Legal basis: the publisher's legitimate interest. Only he sees these data; they are neither sold nor passed on.
- Retention: the visits, with all the above, are deleted after 90 days. After that, until 400 days, only the count of the pages seen by IP address and by country remains (the address, its country, the page, how many times, the first and the last time), then it is deleted; each day's totals, without any address, are deleted after 400 days.
- The country comes from a database installed on the server, read there; no service is asked during the visit. Countries: IP Geolocation by DB-IP (CC BY 4.0).
- Robots (search engines, scripts) are counted apart, from their User-Agent.
- The only cookie: « lang », the language chosen (FR / EN), when one chooses it. The light or dark theme and the windows closed stay in the browser.
As the GDPR provides, anyone may ask to see or have deleted what concerns them (their IP address finds it), or object to it, by writing to the publisher; and may complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr).
